Community

Our second pillar is our support community.

We provide specialist individual, couple, family and group support tailored to people affected by rarer or young onset dementia.

Membership is free to people affected by dementia and practitioners. Membership includes the ability to connect with our support team, advice and information, and education.

We encourage anyone with interest in rarer dementias to register for membership with us.

Our community includes people living with or at risk of a rare or young onset dementia diagnosis, family, friends, and practitioners (nurses, doctors, speech therapists, occupational therapists, social workers, personal support workers and more).

Once registered, people who are directly affected by rare or young onset dementia will have the option to request direct support. Practitioners will receive information on upcoming educational opportunities and options to connect to research and learning.

To become an RDS Canada member, please visit our Registration page.
