This two session Peer to Peer Conversation is for family or friends who are supporting someone living with rare or young onset dementia. The first session focuses on understanding and exploring safety considerations at the physical, economic, emotional and relational level. The second session emphasizes a variety of strategies and practical tips to help create a safe, supportive and autonomous environment. These group conversations are structured to provide information and facilitate an exchange of ideas among members. RDS Canada provides services to people who reside within Canada. These Peer to Peer Conversations will be facilitated by the RDS Canada Direct Support Team: Jen Gordon (MSW) and Gabrielle Ouellet (BSW 4th Year Student).
